Thomas Massari is a flesh and blood human being just like you and me. He’s also one of the finest channels you’ll ever meet. His friend Abram, on the other hand, is a nonphysical personality who borrows Tom’s vocal chords and body to lead metaphysical classes in Los Angeles, Santa Monica and Phoenix. Tom began channeling in 1972, and in 1981, at the prompting of family and friends; Tom became one of the first channels in California, Arizona, and Illinois to share his channeling talent with the public. In 1986, Abram, a gentle, loving entity that Tom channels, presented himself to Tom in a private session. Abram has been channeling through Tom since that time. If you have never been fortunate enough to see a true, ego-less channel in person, then I’d advise you to go to a channeling session and meet Tom. If you’re unfamiliar with channeling, then let me say that it’s basically an agreement made between two souls prior to birth—in this case, Tom and Abram. When I first attended one of Tom’s sessions, I struck up a casual conversation with a quiet man who appeared to also be waiting for the session to begin. I didn’t realize that I was speaking to the channel himself until he got up, walked to the front of the room, sat in a chair facing the audience, and hooked himself up to a microphone so that the session could be taped.
Somehow I had expected Tom to be a mysterious, spooky, table-tipping, and even kooky kind of person. I was surprised to find that he was not only very intelligent, but also a very “normal,” no-nonsense kind of guy. Besides being a channel for over 33 years, Tom is an accomplished musician and a great friend. Born in Chicago and of Italian decent, Tom possesses a quick wit, a wry “East Coast” sense of humor, and a warm heart. Abram is a lively, thought-provoking personality with a gentle communication style that is eclectic and has an accent and method of delivery that is uniquely his own. The sessions allow time for Abram to present his topic and for participants to ask questions, both personal and universal.
I’ve known Tom and Abram since 1987. My interactions with both have truly changed my life and the lives of my family members in ways too numerous to mention. When I first spoke with Abram, I was at a dead-end with my career. I was frustrated, confused, and frankly feeling really stuck. Abram made a few suggestions and I tried them—despite my skepticism. As a result, my life changed radically. I began a very lucrative career that lasted for 11 years. It was one of the most satisfying and rewarding endeavors I’ve ever experienced.
